Construction management for 3D-printed buildings.
The printer is one trade. CCE 3D CM runs the whole job around it: preconstruction, schedule, superintendent, site safety, QA/QC and every trade that works on a printed footprint, from first budget to final inspection.
One schedule. Every trade.
Printing changes the order of work. We build the schedule around the print so the foundation, MEP, roof and inspections land when the walls are ready.
What we manage.
We provide the field leadership a printed project needs, on our own projects, for CCE franchise partners, or for any owner or prime contractor.
Project management
Budget, schedule, submittals, RFIs, change orders and owner reporting from one accountable team.
Superintendent
Full-time field leadership on site, coordinating the print crew and every follow-on trade day to day.
Site safety
Site-specific safety plans, daily safety briefings, and safety procedures for working around the printer and the pump.
QA/QC
Material testing, layer and dimension checks, reinforcement and embed inspections, and documented hold points.
Preconstruction
Feasibility, printable design review, estimating, value engineering and the permit path for printed walls.
Trade coordination
Scopes, sequencing and handoffs for MEP, roofing, windows and finish trades working on printed walls.
Who does what around the printed footprint.
Most trades have never built on printed walls. Our methodology defines each trade's scope, timing and handoff around the print, so bids are complete and nothing falls between trades.
| Work | Who | When | What the trade needs to know |
|---|---|---|---|
| Foundation & slab | Concrete sub | Before print | Print-path layout, starter bars and embeds set to the printed wall line. |
| Printed walls | Print crew | Print phase | Openings, chases and lintel pockets come from the print file, not the field. |
| Reinforcement | Print crew Rebar sub | During print | Vertical and horizontal steel placed at set layer heights, with inspection hold points. |
| MEP rough-in | MEP trades | Planned before print | Routes run through printed chases and conduit sleeves, so layouts are fixed in preconstruction. |
| Floor & roof structure | Structural sub | After each level | Bond beams and bearing details are printed in; multi-story work alternates print and deck. |
| Windows, doors, finishes | Finish trades | After print | Rough openings are printed to tolerance; finishes go on textured or smoothed walls. |
| Inspections & QA/QC | CCE 3D CM | Every phase | Hold points, testing records and code documentation for the building official. |

Printed projects we like.
Taller buildings. Trained trades.
We are pushing printed design to five stories, managing the alternating print-and-deck sequence that multi-story printed work requires.
Training programs for mechanical, electrical and plumbing trades, plus our scope method, so designers, engineers and subcontractors can plan, bid and build printed projects with confidence.
